A brief history

Safeway was established in 2005 by Thomas O’Connor, who noticed that the market for customized top-notch moving services was bare and decided to fulfill the need. With only one truck and a small team consisting of just five employees, the chief executive officer was determined to accomplish seamless transactions for every customer. His personal relationship and his paying attention to each aspect of the situation quickly drew the Company to a well-established place of reliability and professionalism.

2010 year

By the year 2010, Safeway had maneuvered itself towards being a major player in the market as they increased their capacity to 10 trucks and 15 employees. The company conservatively handled the transitions which include a commercial move and they also opened their services to many other western states in the US. This part of the company’s history was characterized by a turning point as Safeway was recognized as a reputable business in the market.

2015 year

In 2015, the company was still on the rise. With a fleet of 25 trucks, 30 employees, and 20 containers in possession, Safeway was now gaining skills to deal with big moving projects. They got the new technology they needed to be able to keep track of the orders and the drivers, which help them improve their services, and make the experience of the customer more efficient. During this time, Safeway also happened to come up with special services like transportation of jewelry and furniture along with office moves, and more.

2020 year

By 2020, Safeway was able to not only cope with the difficulties of a global nature but at the same time introduced contactless services and the highest safety protocols. The staff of the company has increased to 35 employees, 38 trucks, and 49 containers, therefore, the company was able to gain the top position in moving companies in the U.S. Safeway showed its flexibility and its unswerving dedication to the customers during pandemic times thus helping it traverse uncertainties and root the expansion.

Present time

Currently, Safeway is under the leadership of Thomas O’Connor and it is still a family-based company despite the growth over the years. The operation of the company is still being carried out in the way it was initiated and meets the aforementioned values, for example, reliability, professionalism, and personal care. Safeway is growing rapidly, hiring new staff, and adding a large number of vehicles to its list to gain the necessary resources for its clients to make relocation safely and without complications.
